All-in-all this game was amazing. I just wish there was an ending where everyone lives. This is the first VN I have officially played through and I enjoyed every bit of it. I've always loved multiple endings and wanted to see each outcome during my gameplay. The music was amazing to listen to and highlighted the emotions in the scene very clearly. The character art is superb and very unique compared to other VNs I have seen, and the two girls' personalities (especially the older one) gave me a whole new perspective on their struggles in the world they live in. As the unfortunate ones in the game say:"The world isn't fair."Watch out, Stockholm Syndrome will punch you in the face (literally).. Honestly this is just "capitalism is terrible and alienating to everyone involved" the game. Without ever directly saying it. Everyone seems to think that capitalism is just the way things are and the natural order in here which makes this a depressing slogfest. I couldn't really relate to the characters either which didn't help. Verdict? Depressing? and essentially pointless since it never actually points out that the real issue is capitalism, and just moans about the world being unfair.. I'm not really sure how this only has positive reviews. I feel kind of cheated, this VN left no impact on me what so ever. Your choices hardly matter. During the game you spend most of the time chatting with the kidnapper and bring up all these intriguing questions. Although bored most of the way through, I was very interested to see the ending and kept pushing through to see all my questions ultimately answered. I tried for mulitiple ending and all were incredibly unsatisfying. NONE of the questions you had were answered and there is no pay off at all. The only take away is that the "oh boy the world is unfair". Such a waste of time and money.. Solid soundtrack, sympathetic characters, tragic circumstances.The pacing and story-telling are en pointe. Character reactions, behaviour and dialogue are believable. Also, the art is good. It's worth a buy if you are interested in a somewhat thought-provoking, emotion-stirring but ultimately nonconsequential outcome, a good game to enjoy for a few hours.What else have you save helpless rage?
